Memory Sequence
Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 2026
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how ARKbs Labs (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you play Memory Sequence(the “game”). The game is built on the Base44 platform, which handles account authentication and stores gameplay data on our behalf.
By using the game you acknowledge that your information is handled as described here. If you do not agree, you should not use the game.
Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account identifier & email: a unique Base44 user ID and the email address linked to your sign-in provider.
- Display name: the public username you choose in the game.
- Gameplay data: scores, level/round reached, sequence length, accuracy, reaction time, mistakes, streaks, difficulty, modifiers and completion results.
- Achievements & rewards: unlocked achievements, stars, daily challenge progress and the virtual currency “Blitz Points”.
- Leaderboard data: your score, rank, level and display name shown to other players.
- Friends data: friend requests and connections between display names.
- Preferences & ad-reward status: audio/music settings, difficulty preference, avatar and which rewarded bonuses you have claimed.
We do not collect or store payment card information. The game does not process in-app purchases at this time.
Information Collected Automatically
When you use the game, the Base44 platform may automatically receive technical information such as your account identifier, app activity, and basic diagnostic data needed to operate the service. We do not independently collect precise device location, contact lists or camera/microphone access.
How We Use Information
- To create and manage your account and save your cloud progress.
- To display your results on leaderboards and in friends features.
- To award Blitz Points, achievements and daily rewards.
- To personalise audio, difficulty and other preferences.
- To detect cheating and maintain fair leaderboards.
- To provide support and respond to your requests.
Guest Players
Gameplay progress (scores, levels, streaks, achievements and Blitz Points) is stored locally on your device in browser storage. This local progress can be used whether or not you are signed in. However, cloud features — leaderboards, friends, daily rewards and synced Blitz Points — require a Base44 account.
Local guest progress does not appear on public leaderboards. It is not automatically transferred to a server. Clearing app or browser storage, or uninstalling the app, may permanently delete this local progress.
Accounts and Authentication
Authentication is managed by the Base44 platform. Sign-in is offered through Google, Apple, Facebook and Microsoft providers. Authentication credentials are processed by Base44 and the relevant provider — ARKbs Labs does not directly receive or store your password.
Once signed in, a Base44 account is created and linked to your profile, gameplay results and rewards.
Gameplay Data and Cloud Progress
When you are signed in, the game stores your progression in Base44, including: highest level reached, personal bests per level, total wins, streaks, Blitz Points, daily challenge history, Elite Challenge results, achievements and continue tokens. This allows your progress to persist across devices linked to the same account.
Leaderboards and Public Information
Leaderboards and the cumulative global ranking display some of your information to other players, such as:
- Your display name
- Your score and cumulative score
- Highest level reached and games played
- Rank position
Private email addresses are not intentionally shown publicly. Friends features share display names and friend request status, not email addresses.
Advertising
The game includes rewarded video placements (for example, to double Blitz Points or activate a Mistake Shield). In the current build these rewarded ads are simulated for development using an in-app placeholder; no third-party advertising SDK is active yet.
When a real advertising provider is connected in future, that provider may process information such as device identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, advertising interactions, app activity, diagnostic information and consent choices, in accordance with its own privacy policy. We do not currently collect advertising data from you.
Analytics and Diagnostics
The game does not integrate a named third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK. The Base44 platform may record operational usage and diagnostic data necessary to run and secure the service. We may use internal game events (such as level completion or reward claims) to improve gameplay — this is usage data, not third-party analytics.
Local Storage and Device Storage
The game stores information locally on your device, including:
- Gameplay save data (progress, scores, streaks, achievements)
- Cached Blitz Points and claimed-reward status
- Daily challenge history
- Audio (music/sound) and difficulty preferences
- Chosen avatar and seen-mode intros
- Scroll positions and Elite Challenge session config
Clearing app data, clearing browser data, or uninstalling the app may delete this locally stored information. We do not knowingly place advertising cookies.
Third-Party Services
The game relies on the following third-party services:
- Base44 — hosting, authentication, database and game backend.
- Google, Apple, Facebook and Microsoft — sign-in providers (only the provider you choose is used).
Each service operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review those policies. We do not knowingly share your information with unrelated third parties.
Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context advertising. Your information may be processed by the service providers necessary to operate the game (such as Base44 and your chosen sign-in provider), and certain gameplay data is displayed publicly through leaderboards and friends features as described above. We may disclose information where legally required.
Data Retention
Account information and cloud gameplay data are retained while your account remains active. Some records may be retained where required for fraud prevention, security or legal obligations. Locally stored guest data may remain until app storage is cleared or the app is uninstalled.
We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
Account and Data Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated cloud data directly in the app: Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account → Delete Forever. This permanently removes your account, signs you out immediately, and cannot be undone.
A public summary of what is deleted, anonymised and retained — along with email instructions — is available at https://memorysequence.online/DeleteAccount.
You can also request deletion by email. To do so, contact support@arkbslabs.com using the email address connected to your account. Include the game name and write “Account Deletion Request” in the subject line. Identity verification may be required.
What is deleted:
- Player profile, display name and avatar
- Cloud gameplay progress and personal bests
- All leaderboard and cumulative leaderboard entries
- Campaign level rewards and Blitz Points
- Reward claims and daily/Elite challenge records
- Achievements (cloud) and friend connections
- Your Base44 user account (access is revoked)
What is anonymised (not deleted):
- Anti-cheat / fraud records are retained with all personal identifiers (email, display name, user ID, avatar) replaced with "Deleted User", so we can keep leaderboards fair while honouring your deletion.
Local data: when you delete your account in-app, all local and session storage on your device is cleared. You can also clear local data at any time via app/browser storage settings or by uninstalling.
Processing time: in-app deletion is immediate. Email requests are completed within 30 days. Anonymised records are kept only as long as needed for fraud prevention, security and legal obligations.
After deletion: you are signed out and returned to the login screen. You may sign in again with the same provider to create a fresh, empty account; your previous data will not return and you will no longer appear on public leaderboards.
Children’s Privacy
The game is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. A parent or guardian who believes we have collected information from a child may contact support@arkbslabs.com to request review or deletion of that information.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure. Authentication and data storage are handled by the Base44 platform, which applies its own security controls.
International Data Processing
Because Base44 and other service providers may operate in various countries, your information may be processed in a country other than your country of residence, subject to applicable law.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing of your personal data, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, request data portability, and lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.
To exercise these rights, contact support@arkbslabs.com.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the “Last Updated” date above. Continued use of the game after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
